Description
Three films explore the American democratic system and current threats to it. Call it democracy contains a bi-partisan discussion about problems with the electoral process, including the Electoral College system and electronic voting. Original intent : the battle for America examines the judicial philosophy of "originalism"--interpreting the Constitution according to the original intent of the founding fathers--and its potential to undermine fundamental rights. The state of things uses artistic images of an ice sculpture to comment on the "melting" of democracy.
