Description
In 2006, the city council strategic planning process identified "ensuring futures for youth" as an important initiative. To accomplish this, the city was to reach out to youth to make them feel like they are part of the city; assure our community's assistance and concern for the health, education, and well being of our youth; and encourage the special role of youth in providing for a strong, sustainable economy and community into the future.
