There is his aunt who makes stories out of sound when she reads her sheet music. There is the tourist who reads the time on his watch while waiting for a train. There is the doctor who reads a thermometer. And the fisherman who reads the weather in the sky above him. The only ones not reading are the boy's pets -- and how silly they seem to miss out!
