Description
Presents a drama set in a small Louisiana Cajun community in the late 1940s. A disillusioned schoolteacher agrees to talk with a young black man who has been falsely convicted of murder and sentenced to death. The two men forge a bond as they come to understand what it means to resist one's own fate.
